Recently, the XCMG XLC18000M (1300 ton class) crawler crane appeared in Inner Mongolia and began large-scale wind turbine lifting operations. With its strong lifting capacity and intelligent advantages, it injects new momentum into clean energy construction. Wind power hoisting is a continuous inspection of equipment limits. High altitude overall hoisting requires both wind speed adaptability and rotation accuracy, as well as batch operation and industrial pace for disassembly, loading and unloading, and on-site scheduling. Any shortcoming may amplify risks, delay delivery, and increase costs. At the construction site, XLC18000M operates under standard conditions of 147+8 meters, steadily lifting 108m long blades to a height of 130m, achieving seamless connection and precise positioning between the blades and the engine room. This task involved more than 40 wind turbines, and continuous operation put forward higher requirements for equipment stability. XCMG XLC18000M crawler crane provided the answer with on-site performance. As a lifting tool tailored for wind farms, the XCMG XLC18000M performs outstandingly in terms of working condition coverage and operational efficiency. Its maximum arm length under standard wind power conditions is 150m+8m, and the maximum arm length under super lifting wind power conditions is 198m+8m. It is the only lifting equipment in the industry that meets the overall lifting of 10MW wind turbines at a height of 142m under standard conditions, and covers the lifting of wind turbines of 15MW and below under super lifting conditions.
